LEG Education & Wellness Funding
CME Rounds
A $500 stipend is available for physicians (local & external) who provide NBRHC accredited CME rounds (clinical rounds & grand rounds).
Funding for visiting speaker travel and accommodation expenses is available as well.

Preceptoring
NBPLEG members are paid for preceptoring NOSM medical students, NOSM residents and external medical learners on approved NOSM rotations.

- Home based CCC (3rd year medical student)

Education & Wellness Activities & Initiatives
Funding is available to support continuing medical education and wellness activities and initiatives that target and benefit NBPLEG members and North Bay home-based medical learners. Applications for funding need to identify objectives & rationale for the request as well as a proposed budget.
The NBPLEG Executive follows a quarterly funding request application review schedule. To be considered, please submit your application by one of the following deadlines:
- Q1 Deadline: March 1
- Q2 Deadline: June 1
- Q3 Deadline: September 1
- Q4 Deadline: December 1
Applications received after a deadline will automatically be held for review in the next quarter.
Funding applications must be submitted in advance of the activity start date, as retroactive requests will not be considered.
